I just got the microwave, but so far I LOVE it. It is HUGE in size, you can put an extra large plate inside or a couple of small plates inside. It definitely stands up to the other reviews that I read about it. However, I do wish that it had more instructions on how to use it because I am sure that it does more than what I have been able to figure out so far. Plus, I have not yet been able to figure out how to make it let me know when the cycle is complete. That would really be helpful! Since you have to either guess or stand right next to it. I still would give it a 5 in ratings.

Love the Beeper option to turn OFF

Love that you can silence the beep when you are using the keypad, and also it silences the end of cycle beep so it does not continue to beep until you open the door up. Fit perfect in where I needed it.

This microwave is just what I wanted. The controls are easy to read and the functions are very intuitive. It is powerful (plenty of wattage) and large enough to do everything I want it to do. It fits my countertop area well. I'm glad I could get white to match my other appliances!

just unpacked it and put it together - it feels a bit flimsey compared to my old Sharp microwave which was quite sturdy. The turntable base is very thin and unstable. The door is very light. When it is closed it wobbles and does not feel like it has completely engaged the door locks. I may have made an expensive mistake purchasing this piece of equipment instead of another Sharp.

The beverage heater overheats coffee. No way to adjust it that I can see. It looks good. It was hard to install, oddly the trim kit is not flush to the counter without large modifications to the counter, which we did not do.

It's almost impossible to find a white microwave over 1.0 cu.ft. I found this one and it works great. Easy to read buttons, simple controls, and large cooking space. Also quieter than my old microwave. I bought a Toshiba Microwave (black controls) and took it back because my wife had to use a flashlight read the panel, also had an energy saver that could not be disabled, so the clock shut off after 2 minutes and would not come back on till you hit a button or opened the door. Why buy a microwave that you can't see the clock? Thanks GE.......

We only upgraded because the model that we had that was just about exactly the same as this one had the receiver part of the latch go bad after nine years. Hopefully this latch will last us even longer than nine years! Our GE microwave always works great and is used daily.

Took some getting used to as had our old microwave for more than 20 years not easy to find one of same color, size and dimensions this one was perfect outside surprisingly inside was 1/2 inch deeper making it useful for more of our dishes. Next to refrigerator microwave is our most used appliance most of our cooking is with it as well as our builtin a GE Spacemaker. Been using the new one for several months now and completely satisfied with it's performance and size was a perfect fit for us.

DISAPPOINTED PURCHASER

ALREADY TAKEN BY SURPRISE 1/10/2025

MODEL GCST2OS1W1WW GE (haier China) Looks nice. BUT bought new and worked well for 1 MONTH and stopped functioning. Operated for about 5 minutes and stopped. After a while 3-4 minutes more and stopped again-repeatedly. I called GE for service and someone DID visit my house. After disassembling and making tests he advised that the capacitor needed replacement and would order one. After another month and no correction I called GE and got little little help from many GE sources. Finally I got a person who told me that THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE! FOR A BRAND NEW UNIT! WITH 1 MONTH OF USE! I CANNOT RECOMMENT THIS UNIT ( maybe even GE HAIER) TO ANYONE. Until now I have been a faithful GE purchaser.
