Stopped working after 2 years of normal use. Bodewell does not support it. Had to call an appliance repair person who said it needed a new controller board for $400.

We purchased this microwave 1.5 years ago. It will only cook for less than 30 seconds or less, then the microwave turns off. We™™ve attempted to reset it with no luck.. of course the one year warranty is up. I do not recommend buying this model. as the microwave is way too expensive to replace every year and a half.

We have had dish microwave for about 13 years. I think we had a lightning strike and now the microwave is not working properly. We will have to get a new microwave and it will be the same one as we have already. That™™s how much we like it.

I owned this countertop model for 17 years of nearly daily use without a single problem. When it finally stopped working this year, I researched many other brands of microwaves and found that this huge GE family-size 2.2 cu ft. microwave was the one that still met my needs. It is big enough to hold large casseroles and it defrosts, heats, and cooks any item, from vegetables to baking a cake. The controls are easy to operate, and it has plenty of power (1200 w.) for even multi-stage cooking. I hope to keep this one for a longtime too.

We replaced a 25 yr old GE microwave that still works due to a kitchen renovation. I like all the features the new one has but, the quality just isn't the same . The inside back panel has bubbles in it so not sure how long it will last.

The capacity is huge. There's enough power to cook what I want. Quick and easy button for preset are great ð. The 1200 wattage oven will bake, warm, and cook. It's light weights but strongly built for durability.

I love this microwave. It™™s large, it™™s powerful, and easy to use. The only issue we have is the opening handle looks loose when closed. When it™™s open it pops back into place.

We purchased this microwave primarily for its brand quality. We had the same brand and model this replaced and works very well, our old one still worked, however it would not turn on all the time till we banged on the holes where the door latches make contact withe door jamb. I suspect it was dirty witch contacts or the switch itself.

We just received it yesterday but it is replacing the same older model we have had, used every day by myself, husband & 3 boys-to-men for 16yrs without any problems until it fried out last week. So, at 73 & 75yo it may outlive us if it lasts like the last oneð.

So irritated that it doesn't fit at all in the trim kit. And I hate that it doesn't have the 30 second button. And it's ugly. But it does heat water if you punch enough buttons. Just don't pop corn in it. That is a known issue that using the high heat popcorn button will blow the magnetron and then it's trash.

This is my third one of these models. The first one was bought in maybe '03 for the main kitchen and the second one for the downstairs kitchen around '07. I was just floored that it was still available. Our '07 died, so we replaced it with the same.

Got this to replace a similar unit that quit working after only about 9 months of use. Looked good out of the box but, within just a couple days of limited use, the button to open the door appears to be partially detatched and a haze has developed on the inside of the clock display. Neither item is effecting functionality.

LOVE our new microwave! Very similar to the one that up and "died" on us! Easy to operate and see the controls. HUGE inside! Our favorite pan for making BACON fits great. LOOKS awesome on the counter and matches the other stainless appliances. Wouldn't hesitate at all with GE!

I just installed but looks like a good unit. Big think it fit my old hole and nothing had to be altered including electrical plug. Happy Day . Does not have push 1 and it starts and runs for 1 minute, will do that on any number, will take so retraining.

This microwave is big and beautiful! I cannot imagine needing any other features above and beyond what comes with this appliance. I definitely believe I made the right purchase decision. Of course, come back to me in 2 years and I'd actually be able to report on one of the most important things us customers look for.....reliability. New out of the box everything is absolutely wonderful!!

It does a good job but I really miss the 32nd and 602nd buttons I had on my last microwave. It really is a pain to have to set the time for small jobs. The light in the microwave stopped working after only a couple of years. I've never had one stop working before.

I haven't had this microwave a month yet but so far it hasn't disappointed me! It is very easy to us provided you read the Manuel first. The only issue is the card stating to remove the blue cellophane that protects the stainless steel should be place whereas you can see it right away. I used the micro 3 weeks before realizing that the card was placed on top near the back of the micro that instructed me to remove the blue cellophane before using the micro. The only other issue as usual with stainless steel is the fingerprints!

Just purchased the microwave and installed it. The display numbers need to be brighter and larger or at least give us the option to brighten/enlarge them. That helps when you are 76 & 80!

I replaced it with the same model but the original is a much older production year 2010 old model was #JES2251SJ02 and replaced the the same model but it is newer version #JES2251SJ03 production year 2023 so it has some updated insides; i.e. an LED light bulb and it is not as heavy than the older model and I would think newer integrated circuit boards. And an added bonus is having a spare dish and roller ring from the old model.

Don™™t really care for my microwave, it doesn™™t have a sound that tells when food is done, reheat runs too long food is way to hot. Even at normal temps we have too check how hot plate or bowl is it is usually too hot to handle without a hot pad. I believe we would be happier with a different microwave.
